Just do what you want and reach out for your dreams.
This is 11 year-old Cherie Mei M. Delos Reyes’ motto.
Delos Reyes is this year’s winner in the Regional On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest conducted by the Department of Agriculture-Caraga.
“This is my first time to join this contest so I was really surprised when the result was announced. I’m very happy that I won and hopefully I can inspire other kids like me to go for what they want,” she said.
The contest is conducted annually as part of the activities of the World Food Day celebration.
This year’s theme is “Our Actions are our future. A #ZeroHunger by 2030 is possible.” It focuses on taking responsible actions to contribute to the fight against hunger.
